Gary is the Founder and Managing Director of Core Talent, an entrepreneur and recruitment leader who has built the business from the ground up into an international recruitment group with operations across Australia and the United States.

Originally from Essex in the UK, Gary began his career with a globally recognized recruitment business before moving to Australia and establishing Core Talent more than 14 years ago. From the outset, his vision was to build a recruitment business that challenged traditional models — combining specialist market expertise, technology and high performance with an entrepreneurial culture where ambitious people are trusted to take ownership and build successful careers, teams and markets.

Under Gary’s leadership, Core Talent has grown to more than 100 people across multiple offices, with specialist teams supporting clients across Construction, Engineering, Civil & Infrastructure, Property & Real Estate, Facilities Management, Manufacturing, Logistics, Finance, Business Support, and Trades & Labour.

As Founder and Managing Director, Gary sets the strategic direction for the Group and remains closely involved in its growth, investment and international expansion. A forward-thinking leader, he has consistently championed innovation and the use of technology to connect global talent markets, improve access to specialist skills and enable Core Talent’s teams to respond faster to changing client and candidate needs.

His leadership philosophy is equally focused on people. Gary believes in developing strong leaders, creating genuine opportunities for progression and giving teams the autonomy and accountability to build successful businesses and markets. This approach has created a culture where people are encouraged to think commercially, embrace innovation and take ownership of their success.

Core Talent USA represents a major milestone in Gary’s long-term vision for the Group: creating a globally connected specialist recruitment business that combines deep local market expertise with technology, talent networks and international capability.

Outside of work, Gary is a committed Tottenham Hotspur supporter, enjoys travelling and is always happy to find an excuse to bring the team together for a celebration.
